Results 2025
2025 was another excellent year for our students and the results reflected their fortitude and tenacity.
At GCSE:
68% of pupils achieved a strong pass (Grade 5+) in both English and Maths.
84% of pupils achieved a good pass (Grade 4+) in both English and Maths.
The Attainment 8 score for Tapton School in 202 was 58.02. This is a score based on how well students have performed in their best 8 subjects.
49% of students were entered for the EBacc qualification. The average point score for EBacc was 5.31.
Sixth Form:
We are delighted to report that we have achieved our highest ever results since the introduction of the current league table methodology in 2013.
Our students achieved an average grade B, having completed over 650 A and AS levels. In addition, we achieved a value-added score of +0.33. This means that on average our students made a third of a grade of additional progress on each of their qualifications - a truly outstanding achievement.
